We really appreciate you taking the time to pitch for us & are excited to hear your ideas. If your pitch is successful, you’ll be published in Issue 9 of The Lemming- a rapidly growing, independent DIY magazine based in Manchester and distributed across the UK.
Political thought pieces, journalism, satire, short stories, art & culture, poetry, historical musings, interviews, reviews, essays on the weird & wonderful and more are all welcome.
We recommend reading the magazine prior to pitching to get a feel for what we are all about- our most recent issue is available on this website now and you can order the print versions in our online shop.
We are open to first-time writers as well as the more experienced, and each contributor will receive a small fee.
The deadline for pitching is 29th January 2024 and the deadline for first drafts is 14th February 2024. We will let you know if your pitch has been successful as soon as possible after the deadline to give you as much time to write as possible!
